It’s already February. Scary.

The good thing is, in a couple of days, KAT-TUN’s new single (Love Yourself / The D-Motion) will be released yo. Not one, but TWO new makings to watch. Kick awesome. I want funny stuff. And lots of group interaction, please.

And then a few days later, it’s Chinese New Year. = Pineapple Tarts and Ang Baos. :)

And then soon, it’ll be March. @_@

Oh, another thing I’m looking forward to is the upcoming Music Station episode on 12 February because there’s KAT-TUN AND ARASHI. ♥ Now, if only KAT-TUN can somehow go on VS Arashi…

Watched SMAPxSMAP 4 Hour Special 2009.01.04 on live streaming yesterday. Footage wasn’t really great, and the stream kept stopping, but damn was it entertaining!

KAT-TUN first appeared wearing normal clothes. I have to emphasize that. Yuichi looked really nice with his current hair and clothes. ♥ He was bullied though, as usual. Nakai pretended to forget his name and I think Kimura (?) scolded Nakai. Kame was pretty, and he was standing next to Kimura, heh. Goro thinks Jin is cool haha. I think Kimura commented that Goro is a KAT-TUN fan.

Anyway, because SMAP like to go insane on their own variety show, they insisted that both groups had to wear bright tank tops (blue for KAT-TUN, pink for SMAP), white shorts, weird wigs, and basically look terribly uncool. And have nicknames. I think SMAP thinks it’s fun to bully their kouhai, particularly the six kouhais that love to appear cool. XD;;;

Anyway, when KAT-TUN had to come out in those clothes, they walked out in a very low tension, depressed way as “Real Face” was played in the background. And got ’scolded’ by SMAP (or Skater Boys, as they were now called) cos they were not smiling and basically not ‘idol-like’ enough. XD You can tell that SMAP’s totally having a great time making fun of KAT-TUN lol. So anyway, KAT-TUN (or KAT-TUN boys) had to redo their introduction in a super genki way. LOL.

Then they did self-introduction. In a a super genki way again lol. So we now have Kamepi, Akkun, Taguchan (I think), and then stupid stream died so I couldn’t catch Koki’s nickname (though I did see him acting girly), and the sound was so bad but I think Ueda might have been Uepon and Yuichi was Maruyan?

I won’t talk about the games they played so that I’ll avoid giving away spoilers. Let’s just say, KAT-TUN can be so lame. XD

If you’re wondering though, KAT-TUN’s part was in the middle of the show, though they did appear at the end again. There was this SUPER COOL DOMINO thing they had near the end of the show, I was just going “sugoi sugoi” the whole time. Then after that SMAP & KAT-TUN performed together. Can’t wait to find a higher quality version of it so that I can watch it again! =)

Thoughts: Loved Oguri’s character (and look) in this show more so than Hiro’s, heh. What I probably enjoyed most was the weird arguments the two of them always had, often in the middle of when they’re fighting the bad guys lol. Not forgetting Sou getting phone calls from his mum at the worst possible timings. And Maruo calling Sou “America no Sensei”. XD

MY GIRL

Cast: Aiba Masaki, Murakami Shingo
Thoughts: In the midst of completion due to lack of time, since I’ve too busy being a slave… -_-|| Plus this show’s more on the serious side and I’ve been needing happier stuff to cheer myself up. Anyway, the girl who’s acting as Aiba’s character’s daughter, Koharu, is cute, though I think it’s funny how she always calls her father “Masamune-kun”. ^^;;;

PS: I hope there’s a DVD for the Johnnys’ sports festival! Wanna see Kame the pitcher and Yuichi the hat-trick goal scorer. KAT-TUN rampage yo.

My favourite performance in the whole concert has to be “REAL FACE“. Because it was so fun and they were just playing around! Kame doing Koki’s rap at the beginning, Jin holding out the mic for Yuichi to sing his part (JinYu! ♥), Taguchi singing Kame’s part, and Yuichi total fail at Koki’s rap at the end, lol.

Another part in the concert that I like was when I think Ueda, Kame, Koki and Yuichi were hanging on those metal things up there, and then Ueda suddenly shouts out to Taguchi, who replies “Uepi~”. But Taguchi doesn’t stop there, instead he goes “Yuichi~” who replies that he doesn’t have time to reply to him (probably cos he’s concentrating on hanging on so that he won’t fall ha). Taguchi also calls out to Kame then Jin, both telling him he’s noisy. Then he stopped. XD Which made Koki ask him to shout so Taguchi obliged and Koki answered back lol.

The bonus disc is really good too! All individual interviews, with the members going to different places, shot during their arena tour in the summer if I’m not wrong. Well, it’s supposed to be solo interviews, but Yuichi crashed into Jin’s one, and they were playing football together! ♥ AND, they even had some short footages from the arena tour! Something that greatly pleases me, although being the demanding person than I am I wished there was more lol.

If I had to complain, it’ll be the fact that they didn’t include those special segments. You know, cos each member was in charge for each day and they had a special segment where they picked some old songs to sing. Like “Murasaki”, etc. I’d love if they’d compiled it and included it as bonus too, since I’ve only ever seen the Kame-produced one. Would love to see the rest!

Guess what I finally got to watch?

Kame looked sooooooooooooo good in the GOKUSEN movie!!!!!

Well for his first scene, at first it was just like ‘yay Kame’s here (and on the big screen!)’ but because we’ve seen the trailer and seen news clips, I hadn’t gone into kyaa-mode yet. But he just looked better and better and better and better and by the time I saw Odagiri sitting under a tree I was almost about to squeal, lol.

Admittedly, there were parts where I was too busy staring at Kame to pay attention to what the characters were saying. ^^;;;

Movie wise, it’s the usual GOKUSEN. Same old, same old. Enjoyable of course. In terms of touching/inspiring/etc though, I’ll say ROOKIES movie had a better impact. Still, it’s a fun watch, and anyway, KAME. ♥

1. KAT-TUN Live Break the Records DVD
16 DECEMBER = CONCERT DVD TIME! :D Was rewatching a few parts of the Cartoon KAT-TUN Tour DVD and was thinking, “Wow, I actually recognise this place now” because of my one and only Dome experience earlier this year. Most times I feel that it’s hard to pay attention to everything when you’re there so hopefully the DVD will bring to attention things I didn’t notice previously, and of course bring back the good memories heh.

2. Kris Allen’s Debut Album
Out 17 November, hopefully will be able to find a copy at HMV here. Looking forward to hearing what his album will be like. I’m already enjoying his first single, “Live Like We’re Dying” so here’s hoping for more good stuff. :)

3. The Man Utd vs Chelsea game
That’s in a couple of hours. Last week I was so sleepy I slept through most of the game, unfortunately, so it feels like I haven’t watched a Man Utd match in ages. They better win tonight!

4. Kaichou wa Maid-sama anime
It’s gonna start next year if I’m not wrong. Don’t know who the seiyuus are yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing Usui in animated form. He’s such a bishie, ha.

Speaking of animes, I previously mentioned about going back to old fandoms, specifically Tenipuri. Well, it’s now the Naruto phase, lol. Going by how things went, does that mean that I’ll start rewatching old eps of Bleach soon? XP
