Saw the news that Yuichi’s gonna be in a suspense drama titled “Last Money ~Ai no Nedan~” starting September 13. He’s not the lead, but that’s ok. Hoping the drama would be good since I usually don’t mind watching dramas of those genre but am a little worried that it would be overly serious since it’s by NHK. T_T

I also can’t believe I sacrificed sleep to finish watching the Korean drama “Mischievous Kiss” in 3 days (including working days). -_-|| When I first saw the drama poster, I was irritated that the lead guy looked like a Yamapi-wanabe… Only started watching it because I know part of the story (watched a bit of the Taiwan version) and still couldn’t help thinking it sometimes felt like Yamapi was walking around in the drama. -_-|| Did enjoy watching the drama though, even if, like most Korean dramas, I did skip a bit towards the end, ha.

Anyway, am rather looking forward to the upcoming new dramas. There’s “Zenkai Gaaru“, Ryo’s drama, which I’m hoping would be good cos I read somewhere that his character is a ‘weak’ guy and that just sounds funny. Am also gonna watch “Ikemen desu ne“, the Japanese version of “You’re Beautiful” just so that I can laugh at Hikaru, Taisuke and Tamamori. XD Must admit I’m a tad bit worried of how “Ouran” would turn out especially since I’m a fan of the anime and have read quite a bit of the manga. Usually that results in me being annoyed at how the adaptation turns out. *sweat*

It’s been ages since I last posted in February.

Since then, Manchester United won the English Premier League for the 19th title, but lost the Champions League final to Barcelona again. Paul Scholes, favourite player ever, has retired. D: Transfer season has just started and looks like we’re going to be busier than normal. But I doubt we’re buying the player I really want us to buy…

Speaking of the player I really want us to buy… Uchida Atsuto became the first Japanese player to play in the Champions League semi-finals, but unfortunately for him, his team Schalke had to face Manchester United and he found out that not having any Pikachus didn’t really affect us. Oh, and he’s still torturing Yoshida Maya, lol. Maya’s life is so hard.

Sebastian Vettel is leading the 2011 Formula 1 Drivers Championship by 60 points, having garnered 161 points after winning 5 of the first 7 races, finishing 2nd in the 2 that he didn’t manage to win. He also grabbed 6 pole positions this season. He’s being chased by Jenson Button. (Yes, I intentionally phrased it that way.)

And KAT-TUN has done nothing. Okay, just kidding. Rather, lots of things happened in Japan as anyone not living under a rock would know. There’s still no new drama, nor any variety show — I really missed Cartoon KAT-TUN, the first season — but three of them are gonna be in Dream Boys this September. Yuichi wants to take on the role of the ‘champion’, but Kame and Koki joked that they would quit if that happened. Yuichi wants to try flying. Kame and Koki can’t imagine him having the guts to do it. :DDD Yuichi’s life is so hard.

There’s also something about a temporary name for KAT-TUN called “Katsu-un” during September. This is basically how their group name has always been mispronounced for the past 10 years and Johnny-san is being lame. Oh, and there’s no tour due to what happened in March. And their sales are dropping — though I personally think that “WHITE” is not really single-quality. And they should really just stick to their badass image when it comes to releasing singles instead of moving into typical Johnnys territory. Just my humble opinion.

And I demand a KAT-TUN variety show soon. With Ucchi as a guest in it. Preferably as soon as possible.

Today is the anniversary of the Munich crash. I hope the Busby Babes weren’t watching the shameful display yesterday. Sadly enough, this isn’t the first time they’ve put on such a crap performance this season.

With so many players not from the Manchester United youth academy these days, I wonder if that attitude/education Gary talked about still exists in the current batch of players. Maybe that’s why Fergie will keep certain players like Gibson even if most of us fans think he’s not good enough. Maybe he’s one of those rare breeds who know what it’s like to play for Manchester United. Unlike some selfish pricks who think they’re the best player in the world and would probably swim to Madrid if the virus decides to come knocking.

Every season, we start at 0. The season’s not over. Being at the top of the league now means nothing if you’re not there by the end of the season. Here’s hoping the loss to Wolves has given them a much-needed kick up the backside. It’s time to wake up and play like you actually deserve to wear the shirt.

Quick post, since there’s a game starting in 15 minutes so I need to go off soon. Looking back at 2010, I think I’ll best remember it for:

1. Experiencing my very first White Christmas (in Hokkaido, Japan) ♥
2. First time getting to sit in the arena during KAT-TUN concert (in Taipei) ^_^
3. Sebastian Vettel winning his first Formula 1 driver’s title
4. Japan being rather awesome in the World Cup and me being almost as accurate as Paul the Octopus
5. Nakamaru’s bow tie that just doesn’t seem to go away ^^;;

Here’s hoping that 2011 will be an even better year!

Was going to tweet about this but too many things to point out so…

In October, Schweinsteiger indirectly criticises the Bayern fans by saying:
“For me, in England the fans are better. When the team give their best, they are not booing. It’s more like they are fans more with the heart.”
…because apparently Bayern fans boo when they aren’t happy with their player’s performance? Not sure since I don’t follow them, but whatever.

He goes on to talk about United and Chelsea so obviously the rumour mill begins.

Doesn’t help that he goes on about not making a decision until nearer the winter break and leaves the Bayern fans hanging — which pretty much amuses me cos I get to see Bayern fans have a panic attack haha.

In December, after countless of rumours linking him to Madrid and United, and after the game against St. Pauli, he declares to the Bayern fans:
“I’ve extended my contract and I’m staying with Bayern until 2016. Long live Bayern! “I’ve extended my contract for you.”

LOL. FICKLE, AREN’T WE.

And after all this beating about the bush, there are Bayern fans calling him wonderful for ending all this transfer speculation instead of ‘leaving Bayern fans on the verge of a mental breakdown’ (to quote one fan)… Yeah, the guy let it dragged for quite a while, suddenly goes “My heart is red!” (duh, everyone’s heart is, literally, and red doesn’t just belong to Bayern anyway) you guys kiss the ground he walks on again?

C’mon, he was using United to get a higher salary lah. He and most other players. Which is weird, since we’re freaking broke and are unlikely to splash cash on a big name signing. Should point out though that Bayern aren’t looking like they’ll win the league at the moment and there’s no guarantee they’ll qualify for Champions League next season, so who knows? Real Madrid might come knocking on the door in the summer, eh?

As a United fan, would have been nice if he came but wasn’t expecting it anyway. I’m more perturbed by people having the guts to say that he’s similar to Scholesy. NO ONE IS, OKAY. Scholesy is not human, he’s an alien from some footballing planet (where tackling is not an important skill) and no one will ever play like him so people need to stop talking shit. So unless you’re telling me we have a cloning machine or some other way to get more of those aliens, we aren’t able to replace him, so we can only adapt to the change when he retires.

In other not so important news but since I’ve been talking about one half of the pairing, Podolski seems to have picked up an ankle injury. Woe.

PS: Rooney’s transfer saga is still the most hilarious.
